Supporting Growth, Healing, and Insight
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. My background includes working as a Pediatric Oncology Social Worker and then as an Addictions Therapist. I've also spent many years working in education (K-12), in Special Education as both an Autism Specialist and Behavior Specialist, as well as a Counselor and Social Worker within education. I have also worked with Emergency and First Responders extensively.
I have been in private practice since 2013. I have a special passion for working with individuals who struggle with executive functioning skills and helping them build strategies for success.
I am trained in EMDR therapy, which allows me to support clients in processing past experiences and fostering healing. My therapy dogs, Leia and Milo, often join me in the office, bringing comfort and calm to sessions.
I am committed to creating a welcoming and affirming space for all individuals, and I am LGBTQIA+ friendly.
I live in Salem with my husband, son, and our two dogs. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and traveling to new places. I also speak Spanish and enjoy connecting with a diverse range of clients.
